Robert has been a professional musician and educator for many years. Teaching for thirty years at Box Hill Institute, Music & Creative.
He has performed in many genres of music; Rock, R&B, Soul, Funk, Latin, Jazz-Rock, Reggae, etc.
Robert has performed with the Vicky O’Keefe Band (daughter of Johnny O’Keefe) releasing Destiny, Flamenco/gypsy band Europa, He formed Jazz Fusion group RPM which released Conscious Elements. He has been in a number of guitar duos, significantly with long-time duo partner Mario Lattuada, releasing El Fuego. Robert and Mario would team up with singer Linda Cable to form Tabula Rasa, releasing Prism…including some of Australia’s finest musicians, including saxophonist Bill Harrower and drummer David Jones.
Robert performed with international opera star Jose Carreras (The Three Tenors) & Marina Prior as part of the Australian Philharmonic Orchestra at Rod Laver Arena and Sydney Entertainment Centre, NSW. He supported American jazz guitarist Mike Stern (former guitarist with jazz legend Miles Davis). This led to an invitation to record on his then upcoming recording in New York as featured guest. “New Years Eve and the Night Before” with The Australian Pops Orchestra at The Melbourne Concert Hall. Concerts hosted by the Italian Institute of Culture under the patronage of the Consulate General of Italy. Headlining “Musica Chittaro” concert for the Brunswick Music Festival. “El Fuego” concert for Summer Live at the Melbourne Concert Hall. Chamber Music Recital for the Governor General of Australia at Government House of Victoria.
Robert has also appeared on ‘Good Morning Australia’ with Bert Newton (Channel 10). ‘Tonight Live’ with Steve Vizard (Channel 7). ‘In Melbourne Today’ (Channel 9). Performed on television for the Brotherhood of St Laurence’s ‘Promise The Children’ campaign introduced by Mrs Hazel Hawke as part of the Hawke Labour Government initiative to end child poverty. This was broadcast nationally on all major news media tv shows and in print media. Recorded the official theme used for the Channel 7 Barcelona Olympic Games telecast.

Master of Music, Graduate Certificate in Vocational Education & Training, Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training, Diploma in Music Performance
