About Scott
Scott van Gemert is a Trombonist, Pianist, Composer and Educator based in Melbourne.
He graduated from the James Morrison Academy at UniSA in Mount Gambier (SA) in 2018.
He currently leads groups including the SvG Big Band, and Unbroken Trio – who released their debut album ‘SPARK’ in April 2020.
He has performed with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and written pieces for the Australian Youth Orchestra and the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra.
He is also an experienced and enthusiastic educator and currently holds Brass and Piano positions at a number of Victorian schools across primary and secondary students.
